I’ve always been drawn to color, beauty, plants, shapes—and life itself. For me, art isn’t confined to canvas; it’s a way of seeing, shaping, and celebrating the world. Before I ever picked up a brush, I spent over 25 years as a hair stylist and personal shopper, helping people express their identities through style and form. That work was simply another extension of my art.
In 2008, I turned my full attention to painting and began sculpting my pieces with layered media—oil, acrylic, marker, and found materials. Around the same time, I I took on the role of helping a couple in Georgetown, TX bring their property to life as a wedding venue as well as bringing brides’ visions to life through design, planning/atmosphere, whether it’s a hairstyle, ceremony, or canvas, I have always been someone who creates immersive experiences.
My work has been featured at the Pecan Street Festival and other local art events throughout Austin and Central Texas. My painting "cosmic chili pepper" hangs in the dining room of a home featured on House Hunters, and another serves as the visual identity for a salon in Austin. I paint primarily with oil on canvas and often paint on recycled materials—like discarded gas station advertising signs— giving new life to what others discard as trash.
Beyond painting, I carve wood by whittling and design water features, fountains, and water walls for indoor and outdoor escapes, as well as assist others in home organization and project completion by helping sort out ideas, create a design, & and bring to life. These tactile, flowing environments reflect my belief that art should bring peace, presence, and sensory richness to everyday life. The life around us should be a reflection of who we truly are and how we want to the world to see us. Of course with self-expression an originality.
Painting is my daily practice—a ritual of focus, reflection, and calm. Color is my compass. Whether I’m creating for a gallery, a home, or a moment of personal healing, I approach each project with intention and joy. I’m always creating something with my hands.
